Do tours start and end at the same place?

What do I bring and wear?

Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a water bottle are recommended.

Bathroom options are limited during tours.  Public bathrooms are available at the library to use before hand.

What happens if it rains?

Seward is located in a lush and beautiful coastal rainforest.  Tours run rain or shine, and are a great way to get outside and experience the town.

Do I have to buy tickets in advance?

Yes, advanced reservation is required.  Online ticket sales close one hour prior to each tour.  Tours without an advance reservation of at least 2 people will not go that day.  Should you encounter any difficulty with the online reservation system, please call (907) 521-0311 or email info@sewardmurals.com.

What is the cancellation policy?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded, but may be exchanged for another tour on a space available basis.

Can I book a private tour?

Yes!  Private tours can be customized with length and location according to your needs.  Please email info@sewardmurals.com or call (907) 521-0311 for more information.

Can I bring kids?

Mural tours are a fun way to spend time together as a family.  Tours do involve walking, standing and listening.  We ask that you be mindful of other guests and gauge the appropriateness of this activity for your child/children.  Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.  Throughout the tour, there are many open spaces that allow for kids to move.

Is the tour wheelchair/stroller accessible?

For the pedestrian, downtown Seward presents a combination of sidewalks and streetscapes with moderate grades.  We encourage participants to gauge their own abilities as to whether or not these issues will be significant.

Are gratuities accepted?

Gratuities are always appreciated should you enjoy your experience!
